If You are a Visa Member or not a Visa Member, the following Visa Product Terms apply to You:
- You [Company] acknowledge and agree that it may not use the Payment Account Validation API on any BIN without prior permission by the relevant Visa acquiring financial institution (“Acquirer”), including the Acquirer’s agreement to pay the corresponding Payment Account Validation request fees, standard Visa Gateway fees and non-Visa network fees as outlined in the current fee tables on Visa Online (VOL) or as communicated by Visa. You [Company] are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and consents prior to using the Payment Account Validation API.
- Any verifications facilitated through the Payment Account Validation API and its capabilities should not be solely relied on for validation and are used at Your risk. Visa shall have no obligation or liability with respect to any decisions that You may base on the results of API calls.
- You further acknowledges and agrees that verifications facilitated through the Payment Account Validation API may depend on the actions and input by third parties, such as the relevant participating issuers and token providers, both with respect to timeliness and data accuracy. Visa does not have insight into or control over such third-party actions and input and disclaims any and all liability.
- If You are not a Visa Member, clause 2 (Data Privacy Terms when the Parties act as a Controller) of the Additional Visa Developer Platform Privacy & Data Protection Terms for Visa Products Schedule in the Terms of Use applies to the Processing of Personal Information in connection with Your use of the Visa Products.
