We also collect or compile other information about you (such as enrollment numbers or demographic group information) on an aggregated and de-identified basis. We may use or share any other information with third parties for any lawful purpose.

How and why we use Personal Information

The Personal Information we collect is necessary for you to access your Developer Account and use a Developer Program and related Materials as set out in Section 2.1 of our Terms of Use

This Personal Information together with all other information that we may collect will also be used in line with our legitimate interests and/or to provide you with the best user experience. Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small file, typically made up of letters and numbers, downloaded on to your device when you access certain websites. Cookies are then sent back to originating website on each subsequent visit and allow a website to recognise your device.

When you use the Platform, Visa or other parties providing services to us may set and access cookies and similar tracking technologies on your computer or device in order to collect information about your online web-browsing activities over time and across different websites and services (including online or cloud computing services and online applications) or mobile applications as described in this privacy notice. Visa may engage third parties to serve advertisements that may be of interest to you, based on information that such parties have collected about your visit to the Platform and third party websites and applications. For example, we may use third party advertising networks to serve advertisements to you related to Visa because you previously visited the Platform (a behavioural advertising practice sometimes called "retargeting").

Click on the “Adjust Ad Preferences” link to learn more about the collection and use of your information or to opt out of such collection in the future. Please keep in mind that: (i) you will need to opt-out on each browser on each of the computers or devices that you wish to exclude; and (ii) even if you opt out, you may still receive ads that are not customised for you.

In addition, you may be able to take advantage of the tool to opt out of interest-based advertising developed by the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance. This tool provides a list of parties that may target advertisements based on your online web-browsing activities and the ability to opt out of their use of your information for that purpose.

To find out more about cookies, including browser-specific instructions on how to restrict or block cookies, go to http://www.allaboutcookies.org. Remember, though, without cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of all of our website features.

How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals

Each news and updates email will include a link allowing you to unsubscribe from future such emails and may include a link to adjust your email preferences.

We may use any preference information you provide to help us tailor the news and updates emails you receive. We may also use your interactions with the Platform to tailor the emails you receive. We will not share your preference information or information about your interactions with the Platform with anyone except Visa affiliates and service providers.
