Visa Payments Processing APIs have been enhanced to support the following services:
- Bill Payments – API request messages and profile are enhanced to support bill payment transactions.
- Debt Repayments – API request messages and profile are enhanced with an existing debt indicator.
- Dynamic Merchant Descriptors – API request messages are enhanced to support dynamic descriptors for merchant data attributes including a merchant category code, card acceptor name, card acceptor phone number, card acceptor city name, card acceptor country code, authorization characteristics indicator, and electronic commerce/mail order/telephone order indicator.
- Miscellaneous Attributes – API request messages and profile are enhanced with a various attributes including a Payment Facilitator ID, Visa Merchant ID, and Market Specific Data ID.
Visa Payments Processing APIs have been enhanced to support the following services:
- Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) Strong Consumer Authentication (SCA) Exemptions –API request messages are enhanced with the SCA exemption indicators including a Low Value Exemption Indicator, Transaction Risk Analysis (TRA) Exemption Indicator, Trusted Merchant Exemption Indicator, and Secure Corporate Payment (SCP) Exemption Indicator.
- Delegated Authentication Service – API request messages are enhanced with the Delegated Authentication Indicator to indicate that SCA has not been performed as the merchant/issuer participate in the Delegated Authentication Service.
Visa Payments Processing APIs have been enhanced to support the following services:
- Ecommerce Spilt Shipments –API request messages are enhanced to support a single authorization and subsequent multiple online clearings for ecommerce purchases.
Visa Payment Processing APIs now offer support for the following services:
- Real Time Visa Account Updater (Real Time VAU) – API request messages for recurring and credential-on-file transactions are enhanced with merchant requests for Real Time VAU account updates. The requests for payment processing and account updates are processed at the same time in VisaNet. API response messages are also enhanced with new VAU details including a replacement PAN and/or replacement expiration date, closed account or contact cardholder advice, or VAU non-eligibility reason code.
- Payment Account Reference (PAR) – API response messages are enhanced with the PAR value.
- Visa Transaction Advisor (VTA– Ecommerce) – API response messages are enhanced with Risk Condition Codes that provide acquirers and/or merchants with potential risk of account compromise.
