Outbound APIs

Outbound API Basics

Outbound APIs, also called Webhook event notifications, from DPS Payment Account Solutions are delivered through a service called Real-Time Account Communication (RTAC).

RTAC allows to you to optionally receive JSON event notifications for the following types of triggering activity:

Change to available balance
Transaction declined
Change to ledger balance
Change to the status or state of the cardholder’s card
Change to the cardholder’s profile information
Maintenance event (e.g., password change, funding account update, etc.)

How to Integrate

RTAC endpoints are hosted on your system and not the Visa Developer Center (VDC). Work with your Visa DPS Implementation Manager or Account Manager to setup RTAC webhooks.
