Learn more about credentials for authentication methods in Two-Way SSL and X-Pay Token guides.

Ensure you follow best practices for testing:

  • Validate connectivity in Certification before moving to Production
  • Avoid hardcoding environment URLs; use configuration settings for flexibility

Gateway endpoints for each environment

The table below lists the endpoints for API calls in the Sandbox, Certification, and Production environments.

Environment URL Purpose
Sandbox

https://sandbox.api.visa.com

Development and testing
Certification https://cert.api.visa.com Validate your integration
Production https://api.visa.com Go live after approval

Sample code for common programming languages is available at your Onboarding Dashboard > Assets > General Assets > Sample Code.

Refer to Hello World sample code guide for details.
