  • Visa Digital Enablement SDK: New Version launched. An updated version 3.3.0 of the Visa Digital Enablement (VDE) SDK is now available! This version is considered a new “minor” release of the VDE SDK.  The last “major” release was v3.0.0/3.0.1, which was published earlier this year on April 8, 2022.  Please note that existing clients are required to complete a VDE SDK version update at least once per year and within 12 months of the last major version.  Therefore, clients who are currently still using older versions of the VDE SDK should be well underway with your self-directed SDK version update and must complete the upgrade no later than April 7, 2023.  For clients that are currently in active implementation, you should continue with the SDK version you are currently using and plan your next version update for the future. The Visa Digital Enablement SDK is a restricted product. Please consult your Visa Account Representative or Client Resolution Team contact if you are interested in the VDE SDK.

Product Updates

New Product Launch:

  • Visa Account Updater (VAU) Acquirer API: VAU Acquirer API enables acquirers enrolled in VAU to access updates on account credentials for the card-on-file (COF) merchants that they have enrolled in VAU. The Acquirer API response provides updates that address reissuance and portfolio conversions, including account number changes, expiration date changes, closed account advice and contact cardholder advice. The Acquirer API provides a 3rd alternative for acquirers to get updated account credentials in addition to VAU file processing and Real Time VAU.  For acquirers, this API brings the possibility to integrate their web-based applications with the VAU Acquirer API solution – allowing their customers to check for credential updates prior to submitting transactions for authorization and avoiding declined transactions due to out-of-date credentials. Learn More.
